Just before the end of the year, we publish this interesting “particle system” prototype developed by Pekka Sandborg.
It features:

• very fast simulation based on delta time interval and verlet integration;
• Flash 8 bitmap/filter/blendMode visuals;
• short, decent and commented AS2 code.

Ederon is a great example of multiplayer card-battle game, it features a huge number of cards, many different classes of players with many characters to choose from.

We interviewed its creator and developer, Daniel L. Esteves Lema, and asked him to talk about the challanges he’s faced in the creation of such a large project.
